Pyaram Lab doors opened on Sept 20, 2020...Yayyy!!!

April 2021, Undergraduate researcher Ashlyn Bugbee receives the K-INBRE semester scholar award.

April 2021, Dr. Kalyani Pyaram receives her first grant as a PI. She bags the Kansas IDeA Network of Biomedical Research Excellence (K-INBRE) for a Developmental Research Project Program grant.

May 2021, Pyaram lab receives Linders’ Family Cancer Research Expansion Award from Johnson Cancer Research Center.

May 2021, Undergraduate researcher Curtis Niehues joins Pyaram lab. We are growing!

August 2021, Graduate student Aprajita Tripathi and postdoctoral fellow Dr. Anil Pant join Pyaram Lab. Make way, the talented bunch is here!

August 2022, Undergraduate researcher Kade Kaufman joins Pyaram lab. 

August 2022, Ben Choi joins Pyaram lab as a Research Assistant.  Wow...we are a big lab now!

October 2022, Graduate student Aprajita Tripathi wins a best poster award at University of Kansas Chemical Biology symposium, Lawrence.

February 2023, Pyaram Lab moves to Department of cancer biology, University of Kansas Medical Center. We are in KU comprehensive Cancer Center now!

June 2023, Emily Burt joins Pyaram lab as a Research Technician.  

June 2023, Graduate student Aprajita Tripathi wins a 2nd place for the best poster award and is a finalist of the 3-minute thesis presentation at the KUMC student research forum. 

October 2023, Kalyani receives the Kansas Institute of precision medicine (KIPM) COBRE pilot grant award from NIGMS as PI.

Feb 2024, Postdoctoral fellow Dr. Nadine Santana-Magal joins the lab/
